FINALIST OF THE GLOBAL LEARNING XPRIZE COMPETITION

Team CCI is one of the five finalists to advance in the Global Learning XPRIZE, backed by visionary Elon Musk. This international competition challenged teams from all over the world to create a scalable solution that will enable children with little or no access to schools to teach themselves basic reading, writing, and arithmetic within 15 months.

The entry presented by Team CCI includes a series of structured and sequential instructional lessons, as well as a platform that enables non-coders to develop engaging learning content in any language or subject area. For more information, click here.

CODiE AWARD WINNER: ESCALATE ENGLISH

The SIIA CODiE Awards recognize software, information, and education technology companies for achieving excellence in today’s tech market.

Escalate English, published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, was developed using the new English Development standards. This program was designed to help long-term struggling English Learners accelerate academic language growth.

Created for students in Grades 4–8, Escalate English empowers students through its scaffolded instruction that features multiple opportunities to interact with complex text and complex thought across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

ACADEMICS’ CHOICE SMART BOOK AWARD WINNER: EVERYDAY LEARNING FUN

The coveted Academics’ Choice Award is chosen by a panel of academics, parents, teachers, and children. It honors products that stimulate both critical thinking and cognitive development.

Everyday Learning Fun is a program designed to engage learners with a hands-on experience. This set of books for children ages 3–8 includes instruction both in Reading and STEM. Equipped with a digital pen and chip, these books allow children the freedom to explore the printed page at their own pace. As children read the books, the digital pen reads along with them, which enhances not only learning but also self-confidence.
