For Pearson, CCI developed a three-level high school Spanish language program, called Juntos—or Together! Each unit of the program was “set” in a Spanish-speaking country, which was featured in the unit magazine. With a video crew from Puerto Rico, we traveled to twelve Spanish-speaking countries, where we filmed teenagers with their families and friends, in their homes, neighborhoods, and favorite hangouts. American high school students gained a real understanding of the lives of these teens—learning the real value of communicating in a second language!
